It’s traditional as the rest of the Elk, however, and this is the main distinction – Volvo XC40 is not boring. These small vehicles may be useful, harmless, and loved by customers, but for those of us who appreciate driving dynamics they are almost a bit dull for the pilot. The third member of the Volvo family has reached the SUV – Volvo XC40.

What is surprising about the way 2019 Volvo XC40 looks, is the similarity with the concept of 40.1. Traditionally, cars produce many more odd tone details featured on their concepts but the Volvo XC40 looks almost identical to 40.1. Only the camera-based wing mirrors and door handles that have been cleared out for more traditional units are switched. While we have not seen it in metal, the car in the pictures looks exactly fit with the trick, charging front, finely curled body down side and background framed by lights Bold Led Brake. The ceiling can be finished in a contrasting color of the body, echoing the same feature on the Mini-Countryman and Set Arona. The interior is less than the departure of the brand, details of borrowing and parts of the larger Volvo.
Screen information and image oriented entertainment use large icons and clear layouts while all models get a digital screen instead of the traditional dial behind the steering wheel. Overall, there is very little clutter so it should be fairly easy to use. Volvo has looked closely at the way buyers store items in the car and have made improvements aimed at modern buyers. Door pockets are large enough for a laptop or tablet PC while there is an inductive smart phone charging in the center console. To free the boot space, the company has so far gone to design the first portable subwoofer on the dashboard ever.
The first version of 2019 Volvo XC40 to arrive in March will be T5. Under the aluminum hood is the Volvo 2.0-liter four-in-1 turbocharged with 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission is the transmission and four-wheel drive. A few months after the arrival of the T5 will be joined by the T4, which will have a smaller turbocharged, 184 horsepower, and front push. With a 248 horsepower engine, the T5 punches are hard and drives an estimated 3,800 lbs. Volvo XC40 along quickly – claimed, and certified, from zero to 60 mph time is 6.2 seconds. There is no word yet about fuel economy, but we guess that EPA ratings will come in 24 mpg city and 31 highway.
