2019 Chevrolet Camaro Specs Update And Price
2019 Chevrolet Camaro. Although the basic design of the vehicle will be greatly moved, the Chevrolet Camaro model 2019 will have a different grille, a front slot and a redesigned hood. New daytime LEDs are likely to be one of the most obvious differences for most shoppers. SS performance versions will have a slightly different front-end logo placed on the Chevy car belt that you choose to call “flowtie”. One of the potential benefits of this may be increased airflow through larger front ports. After unveiling the updated versions of the Malibu, Cruise, and Spark, Chevy took the covers out of the Chevrolet Camaro face. Like its more pedestrian brethren, the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro boasts a restyled front fascia as well as a handful of modifications and changes under the cuticle.
Chevy is committed to giving its cars a new look, but in the case of the Chevrolet Camaro, the car company may have repaired something that has not been broken. With its exotic shaped headlamps and surplus detail, the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro face is definitely looking quaint, not as clean as outgoing models. But Chevy claims that clutter clamps and nozzles are designed to improve airflow, both for maximizing cruises and handling drag and lift. For the year 2019, Chevrolet Camaro also gets the benefit of the new technical features being dropped from the GM parts container. The rearview mirror from GM – previously seen in the Chevy Bolt EV and Cadillac CT6 – transmits video from the rear view camera through the mirror. Chevy says the new information and entertainment system (with the standard 7-inch or 8-inch touch screen optional) has a more intuitive interface. The Chevrolet Camaro also has a front impact warning system for the first time.
Chevy will offer the same lineup of four, six or eight-cylinder engines, but buyers can now get the 1LE performance package with the 2.0-liter turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, making 275 horsepower and 295 lb. of torque. The SS also gets a new control at the launch and a line lock, where the front brakes are locked to make fatigue easier. It’s an advantage Ford has offered in the Mustang for several years now. Chevy did not mention any other mechanical changes, so the V8 engine should produce 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro is also available with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, which must produce the same 355 horsepower and 284 lb-ft that was used in the 2018 models. Chevy did not mention any changes to the high performance Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, either. The ZL1 currently operates a 6.2-liter V8 with a capacity of 650 hp and 650 lb.
Major competitors include Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette and Dodge Challenger. Official prices have not yet been announced.
