The 2020 Ford Escape looks more titanium in a more sporty way, making it look sort of like the Land Rover Evoque Range Rover. A small, entry-level SUV with a capable position. You may be pressed to call this Range Rover budget. As long as you can get a four-wheel drive. Tail tail lights have the same shape as the first generation in this typical cycle. However, the lighting arrangement has changed slightly with the addition of some circular element. Overall, the athletic stature and determination of the 2020 Ford Escape is a winner. I just wish it did more with the rear end, but it is the middle of the update cycle can not get too excited. The EPA rating of the primary engine stands at 24 mpg combined which is great, but even with these figures it is the worst engine in the lineup. The 2.5 liter is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission plus two other engines. The front-wheel drive is also standard for all units and some will have an optional four-wheel drive. The second option is the 1.5-liter turbo-four-cylinder Ecoboost that comes with output of 179 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.
With the front-wheel drive mode the fuel economy is rated at 30 mpg, while with fuel efficiency all wheel drive is worse for 2 mpg. The lineup is finished by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder turbocharged. This unit is higher than the supply and delivery of 245 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. The EPA rating of 2.0 liters stands at 29 mpg for Vood and 27 mpg for I would like. Each generation was a hybrid model except the third. We are still waiting to see that, but there are no indications 2020 Ford will be released as Escape hybrid.
